HARUMI GALS is an art book By Harumi Yamaguchi that features a collection of iconic pin-up drawings created by Japanese artist Harumi Yamaguchi since the 1970s. Her art became synonymous with the changing roles of women in Japanese society and enjoys high critical praise, partially because of the cultural importance affiliated with the works, amongst other reasons. The publication “Harumi Gals” features all 115 original airbrush drawings created since 1973 and concludes with an essay by Noi Sawaragi (in Japanese and English).
