Grafis Nusantara Vol. 3

Grafis Nusantara, an Indonesian labels and stickers archive collective, is proud to announce the release of their third book, "Grafis Nusantara – Label Kretek Vol.3". This publication is an expansive collection of labels from kretek, a type of Indonesian clove cigarette that is primarily produced in Java. 

The labels are divided into several categories, each providing an in-depth look at the rich history and culture surrounding kretek. This book goes beyond just presenting the labels, as it also includes detailed context and explanations about each category. In addition to the book, each copy includes a booklet, lenticular graphics postcards, and kretek papers all neatly packaged in a pouch. This ensemble serves not just as an informative read, but also as a collector's item for those interested in kretek and Indonesian culture.

In this noteworthy collaboration, Grafis Nusantara collaborated with Jakarta-based design studio, Satu Collective, bringing a fresh perspective to the project without overshadowing its essence.
